Last night before going to bed Anna and I watched Moms’ Night Out. It’s a movie by the people that brought us CourageousFireproof, and Facing the Giants. This movie is very clear in it’s premise that being a mom, or parent really, is not an easy job. The bulk of the issues we face as parents are put on us by us. We allow comparison, jealousy, and condemnation to rule our thoughts. This is why we need God’s amazing grace every moment of our lives. God loves you, not for what you can do for Him, but just for being you. This one scene between the main character, Ally, and the rough-around-the-edges, Bones. To me, this one scene sums up the whole movie.

SPOILER ALERT
Don’t watch the video if you haven’t seen the movie and don’t want to ruin it.
