John 6:35 points to the fact that believing in Jesus is a feeding and drinking from all that Jesus is. It goes so far as to say that our soul-thirst is satisfied with Jesus, so that we don’t thirst anymore.

He is the end of our quest for satisfaction.

John Piper

Only if you’ve realized the satisfaction that comes from Jesus.
Only if you’ve tasted and seen that the Lord is indeed good.
Only once you’re sure that there is no life outside of Christ.
Only once you have exhausted all other searches and rest in Jesus.

Stop searching for something outside of Him.
Start feasting on the table prepared for you in Christ.

Stop drinking from broken cisterns (systems).
Start drinking from the ever-flowing love of Jesus.

Stop looking to something lesser to fill the void that is set aside for God.
Start realizing your perfection through Jesus.

Stop expecting someone other than Jesus to satisfy you.
Start resting in the finished work of Christ.
